Community Service

I. Introduction Im Going To Be Doing My Community Service With Mr.Gates On Certain Days ' That Im Able To Work With Him . I Just Have To Check With My Work Schedule .

II.    Profile of the organization(s) you worked for. Who are they? What do they do to serve the community? When do they provide their services? Where do they provide their services? Why is there a need for their services? Mr.Gates A Participation In Government Teacher ' He Can Use Some Help With Organizing Some Paper Work That Has To Be Done . Organizing Paper Work Is A Very Good Example Of Gathering Important Papers That You Need On You At All Times .Specially If You Have Court And You Need All Of Your Papers That's Evidence And Proves To Them . Everyday You Should Keep Yourself Organized . ORGANIZATION - an organized body of people with a particular purpose, especially a business, society, association, etc.

Vision: Our vision is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where all students will recognize and achieve their fullest potential, with support from staff and community resources, so all are prepared for college/career and ultimately contributing their life purpose and skills to society.

Mission: Fowler High School recognizes that each student is an individual; that all students are creative; that all students need to succeed. Therefore, Fowler High School respects the individual needs of students; fosters a caring and creative environment; and emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, intellectual development of each student.

III.  Description of the specific tasks you performed for he organization or individual . Basically Keeping My Teacher On Task ' Putting All His Paper Work Together In Different Piles That He Need . Specially If Its Students Work . We Want To Make Sure We Keep Them Neatly At All Times .


What I've been doing since last month and now is staying after with Mr.Gates for at least about an hour . I've been putting books on the cart taking it back to Mr. Gates classroom and I'm helping him organize question papers into folders and writing " what do you see when you look out the window " also I'm organizing the desks in rows and cleaning behind kids that leave their papers on the floor/desk for the teachers to be picking it up and as we was doing out blogger on the computer upstairs in the classroom . I was taking the computers out of every plug and plugging them into the right spot to where they need to be . I'm taking old posters off the walls so he can put new posters up because we on a new topic . And back to me talking about " what do you see when you look out the window " I was ripping pictures out the magazine to put on the posters that he was going to put up so that when you look out the window you can picture things or draw what you see or think about . As I do that I had to be very careful to when I'm taking the papers off the wall because it's tape in the back of it and it peals the paint off but he has this tape to where you can save it and use it over and over " thumb tape " if I'm mistaking . I'm cutting definitions up by putting the words with words and definitions with definitions so that it wouldn't be with the words and get mixed up so that the kids can be able to put the words with the right definition . Another thing that I'm doing is putting the stack of papers in a nice pile with a paper clip and making sure everything is well neat and organized .

How these tasks impacted the mission of the organization or the well-being of the individual? The organization that impacted the mission of the organization or the well being individual made me a better person become well organize than I'm already is . I just feel like its good to help teachers organize them and making sure that they have everything that they need to get done with their students .

Personally it's easier for me to get it done right here at Fowler High School because I work right after school so I don't really have time to be going back and forth . By me staying after because I'm right in the building is good for me . I don't mind helping Mr.Gates out when it's needed specially organizing him . The papers be every where and that's why I'm here to make sure everything is well organized like how it suppose to be . Community Service has a large impact on our lives today ' because with community service this place would be filthy . Its good to have a student or an adult help you out when there is work to be done no matter what the situation is . . Yes I would recommend my community service to other peers because it's interesting hearing it from a senior that like cleaning and staying organized and making sure she is on top of everything like a senior suppose to be. I feel like it made a big difference to me because I can carry that on me for years and say I help become a bigger person and on the other hand gave my teacher a big favor to making sure he was putting everything and keeping his papers and students paper organized !
